Villa very good. Great location. Clean and in good condition. Could have done with more knives and some drawers in the master bedroom. Would thoroughly recommend it though.

Wow. We had a fantastic holiday and this villa was a big part of it. Location is perfect with beaches, restaurants, shops and a boat ride all within a few minutes walking. Teenagers loved it, adults loved it. Just wish I had €1.5 million so I could buy it! Ferragudo is a lovely town, cobbled streets, lots of nice restaurants and amazing beaches. Portimao is just a €6 boat trip away if you want something more lively. This place is just perfect. Paula who met us at 1 in the morning on arrival was also brilliant.

We arrived at the villa well after midnight, to be greeted by Paula and her husband, to let us into the property! My husband, grown up children and grandchildren and me were overwhelmed by the villa and the pool! Our four grandchildren were straight into the pool!! All the rooms in the villa are beautiful, even the children were impressed to have their own bathroom!! The outlook from the villa is outstanding, every morning looking over to the beach and sea! With all the various boats going out too! When we found the correct route into the village centre, it only took five minutes. Lots of eating areas, from pasta, pizza and steak etc! Our favourite was the steak restaurant Fim Do Mundo and an Italian Pizzeria Delizia very close to each other! We also used the BBQ, which was lovely, as there is a big table outside and the children were just happy to be near the pool!! To get to the centre you turn right, but if you go left of the villa and up the hill by the castle, there is a beautiful beach and two lovely bars! We all wanted to stay longer, and are still wishing we were back there as it was four weeks ago! I was able to keep in touch with Paula if we had any questions, and Petronella also contacted me to see if everything was going well! Our daughter got engaged whilst there, I had the ring in my luggage!! I booked transport for all of us in a larger vehicle to and from Faro airport, about 50 minutes. Overall the villa is outstanding and would not hesitate to go back again, I know my family would agree!!

The place was lovely not far to walk anywhere would highly recommend it and Paula the house keeper was so efficient might well book again for next year. Thank you !

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful villa with the most amazing views of the castle and beach front. It is in a perfect location, just a 5 minute walk from the square and the water front where you will find some lovely restaurants and cafes. A 5 minute walk in the other direction will bring you to a gorgeous beach with more restaurants so you are spoiled for choice on the eating front. The villa itself has everything you need for cooking at home also and there is a beautiful bakery a short stroll from the villa where we got fresh bread, croissants and rolls every morning - just delicious. There is also a beach right across the road which was perfect for an early morning jog or an evening stroll. The villa has 5 big bedrooms with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in while on holidays. On the evenings we didn't feel like eating out we set up the bbq outside and had some lovely food and wine up on the terrace while watching the sun go down over the water - pure bliss!! We were very well looked after by Petronella and Paula and we will be hoping to see them again next year. Ferragudo itself is a very beautiful hidden gem in the Algarve. We absolutely loved this quaint, restful but very interesting fishing village and we will most certainly return!! I would 100% recommend this villa and this destination for a lovely holiday.

Our first visit to Ferragudo but won't be our last. This villa was just as described. Beautiful interior with spacious rooms and all the equipment you could need. Air conditioning in all the rooms which was welcomed as still 30 Celsius well into September. The weather was amazing. Lovely pool with lots of loungers and a first-floor terrace as well. Lots of tables/chairs inside and out to relax and enjoy meals. Good BBQ built in. Views across to Portimao and short walk to the beach or into the square/shops. There was a small grocery shop just minutes walk away also close to the beautiful old church. Very clean and tidy, we were personally welcomed when we arrived and had midweek cleaning done too. We loved it and have booked again for next year. The only thing we could have wanted that wasn't there was a couple more movable parasols to use over the sun loungers (possibly we just didn't find them!) The beautiful one over the outside table was lovely but too heavy to move. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
